Think Denominator’s accessibility commitment, current limitations, and how to request help or an alternative format.

Think Denominator wants its website, research tools, and learning materials to be usable by as many people as possible. We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What you should be able to do

You should be able to:

  • zoom and resize text without losing essential content;
  • navigate the main website using a keyboard;
  • use meaningful headings and link text to find information;
  • use labels and status messages in the PRISMA and CONSORT generators; and
  • access the site on common desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.

Your browser and operating system may also let you change colours, contrast, text size, and speech settings. AbilityNet’s My Computer My Way explains how to use many of these features.

Current status

The website has not yet had a formal independent accessibility audit. We use automated checks and manual review during development, but these cannot identify every barrier. We do not claim full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance at this stage.

Known limitations

  • The PRISMA and CONSORT generators create complex visual diagrams. Although their input fields are labelled, interpreting the live diagram and exported SVG or PNG may be difficult with a screen reader.
  • Browser-based R exercises, code editors, presentation files, and some third-party learning platforms may have accessibility limitations outside the main website template.
  • Some older downloadable workshop files may not have been fully optimised for assistive technology.

We will prioritise improvements that affect access to core information or completion of a task.

How we review accessibility

We review key templates and interactive tools using keyboard navigation, responsive layouts, semantic checks, and automated tests. We will update this statement after substantial changes or a more comprehensive audit.
